Wine Experiences

with Huib

Relax into an evening of wine like no other.  Let Huib take you on a wine journey through the new and old worlds hosted in the main historic house at Eagle Dancer,  softly lit with candlelight and the fireplaces going in the colder months.

Accompanied by a very wide array of charcuterie, including artisanal cheeses from Europe and the US, a wide selection of meats,  and an incredible selection of other Mediterranean appetizers to pair (and sometimes even contrast) with the wines, this is a very fun, interesting and educational evening.

Huib is trained as a Master Sommelier and has worked in Michelin Star restaurants in Europe as well as working at an award-winning winery in California. He graduated, youngest in his class, from the Dutch Wine Academy and has a very educated and refined palate and deep understanding and passion for wine. Iona spent several years early in her career in wine as well, working for a small boutique winery in the Sierra Foothills in California where she ran the tasting room, events and founded their wine club.

Huib and Iona have a deep love for the art of wine and host wine tasting evenings in the main house by request (4 people minimum)
